How it works

How Do I Book?

At DBM Trailer Rentals, you have multiple options for booking: you can either book online, call in and make a reservation, or simply show up and speak with one of our associates in person. To secure your booking with us, a major credit card is required, and you will need to pay for both the booking and the security deposit upfront.

What Happens After I book?

If you've booked online, kindly arrive at your scheduled booking 15 minutes beforehand to allow our associates to prepare accordingly. Once you arrive, we will proceed with the rental agreement, and thereafter conduct a comprehensive walk-around inspection of the trailer to ensure you are well-versed in operating the equipment and that it is securely attached to your tow vehicle. Once the inspection is completed and signed, you are free to utilize the trailer while adhering to the terms of the contract.

Please note that while the equipment is off DBM's lot, you bear full responsibility for its safety. We expect you to maintain the same high standards as we do when using our equipment. Any fines incurred due to improper use will result in additional penalties being charged to your contract. Therefore, we strongly advise you to drive responsibly, park the unit in a secure location, and exercise caution throughout your usage. By doing so, we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all parties involved.

How Do I Return The Rental

After you've used the equipment, perform a walk around of the unit and report any and all new damages to Chris at 604-942-8700 Ext. 2, or at [email protected] and be sure to include your contract number. Give the equipment a cleaning and head back to DBM Automotive for your check-in where we will perform a walk around with you, take pictures and noted of the unit and its state when its been returned. After check-in is complete, you will get a bill printed off that may include extra charges, should there be a need for any. Upon closing out without any issues, the damage deposit will be refunded to you and you're good to go!

What Happens If I Get Into A Collision?

STAY CALM! Make sure everyone is safe and un-injured. If the unit is no longer functional (unable to be transported), call Chris at 604-942-8700 Ext. 2, explain the How/What/When/Where and Why's, hang up and chalk the wheels so the trailer cant roll, freely. Once you've got the area secured, call ICBC Dial A Claim @ 604-520-8222 ASAP and report the incident. Once you receive a claim number, give us a call back and we'll take it from there.

What Happens If There Is A Damage Claim?

If a damage is claimed and or noted on return of the unit, we will hold your security deposit until the damage has been assessed and estimated. What ever the damage value is, it will either be subtracted from the security deposit or you will be charged an overage in excess of the damage depsit.
